Something has happened with my computer and I don’t know how to fix it, I can’t even boot it up! I don’t know if people actually read or enjoy my stories, but I don’t know if it can be fixed or when. It might have to be wiped, which means all of my screenshots, saves, and various other important things will be gone forever…
I honestly want to cry right now.

Sorry to read that you are having computer issues. I know from experience how devastating it is to lose all your important things including your sim saves and other stuff. I have had to discontinue or put stories on hiatus while trying to recreate sims, lots, Screenshots or just try to get my pc/issue fixed. But I wouldn’t stress out take your time to fix what you can, when you can. or just start afresh if that’s what you need to do. As one of your (newer) readers I am happy to catch up on the stories you already have posted and will be back whenever you are to read and continue to enjoy your simlit.

Oh, no! That’s got to be heartbreaking! I don’t know what kind of computer you have, but if the hard drive is removable, you might be able to hook it up to another computer and get the data off it. It’s worth asking before wiping the whole thing, at any rate. And of course, check for the annoying stuff like the cable/battery. If those are what failed, your hard drive should be okay. I hope it works out!
