❝ Beginning;

  1. Start with a single, young adult sim.
  2. Choose a 50×50 or larger lot.

❝ Succession Laws;

  • GENDER:
    • Matriarchy – Founder must be female. Only girls are eligible to be named heir unless there are none.
    • Strict Matriarchy – Founder must be female. Only girls are eligible to be heir.
    • Patriarchy – Founder must be male. Only boys are eligible to be named heir unless there are none.
    • Strict Patriarchy – Founder must be male. Only boys are eligible to be named heir.
    • Equality – Founder may be either gender.
    • Strict Equality – Founder may be either gender but only children of the opposite gender of the previous heir can be the next heir.
  • BLOODLINE:
    • Strict Traditional – Child must be naturally born.

    • Modern – Child can be naturally born or adopted.
    • Foster – Child must be adopted unless there are none.
    • Strict Foster – Child must be adopted.
  • HEIR:
    • First Born – The oldest child becomes heir.
    • Last Born – The youngest child becomes heir.
    • Living Will – The child with the highest relationship with their parents becomes heir.
    • Merit – The child with the most completed aspiration becomes heir.
    • Strength – The oldest child becomes heir, but the title can be forcefully taken by anyone that beats them.
    • Random – The title of heir is randomly selected.
    • Exemplar – Name a trait. The title of heir is given to the oldest child with this trait.
    • Democracy – The heir is chosen by your viewers/readers.
  • SPECIES:
    • Xenoarchy – Heirs must alternate between human and alien.
    • Xenophobic – Heirs cannot be a different species from founder.
    • Brood – Heirs must be carried in a pregnancy.
    • Tolerant – Heirs can be any species.

      • On the day they started the challenge – one tradition.
    • 1 point = when one of the two reaches 5 traditions.
    • 1 point = gold for a 5 tradition family holiday.
    • 1 point = all active members reach gold for a family holiday.
  • PENALTIES:
    • -1 point = power shut off.
    • -1 point = plumbing shut off.
    • -1 point = each child taken.
