Tonya has finally arrived in Selvadorada! The villa she’s staying at for the next seven days is quite nice and no one else was staying there to bother her.

As nice as it was and as tired as she felt from the twelve-hour long plane trip to get there, sitting around was the last thing on her mind. She wanted to get out and explore immediately. Just the thought of the adventure awaiting her had her nearly jumping out of her boots!

Naturally, it would be foolish to just jump straight into the jungle without doing her research. While she had been studying several textbooks about the country and its surrounding jungles for years, nothing compared to the information the locals themselves could provide.

For this, she simply needed to walk down the street to the Cantina “El Arbol del Jaguar”.

The woman wasn’t too fond of conversation, simply muttering something under her breath about tourists before walking away.

The bartender was much more friendly, probably because it was his job to do so. When she questioned him about the jungle, he offered up a tip, though she had to wonder if it would actually be useful to her.

Tonya had to admit, Selvadorada was quite a beautiful place.

And she heads off to Belomisia Trailhead!

There, she finds a bright yellow sign with several warnings posted on it.

Only two of them concerned her.

The first read, ‘Caution: In cases of poisoning, please consult with local sims for antidotes.’

Poison… well, that’s a bit worrisome.

The second one read, ‘It’s important to prepare for the many dangers lurking in the jungle with the right adventure gear. Check the marketplace vendors to see what helpful items they are offering. The selection is always changing so check back often.’

She wanted to facepalm for, in her excitement, she had completely forgotten to stock up on useful gear! She decided to return to the marketplace.

But what’s this? Nearby is a pile of earth just begging to be inspected!

Sadly, with so many tourists roaming around, there’s bound to be some curious onlookers.

Tonya couldn’t help but wonder what the woman had done to her hair and if it was some kind of mid-life crisis or if she had just upset her hairdresser. Either way, it was of no concern to her.

She kept her replies respectful but short and the woman eventually left her to her devices.

Before returning to the marketplace, she took a moment to breathe in the warm air around her, eyes scanning the beginnings of the jungle.

Selvadorara really is a wonderful place.
