Hello there, and welcome to my attempt at the legacy challenge! I’ve always been the kind of person that prefers playing through the sims with just one sim being the focus – legacies and families have never really been my cup of tea, but when I see other people with these long legacies that have these wonderful stories and adventures, I find myself wondering if I could do the same. In a way, I feel like I’m missing out!
I’m gonna try and follow the rules and such, but I’m not gonna get too upset if I mess something up. I hope you’ll join me as I craft their story!

Jen Winchester grew up in Oasis Springs with her godmother, Leyva Hale. Leyva was an archaeology scholar, so she was always away on business trips and rarely ever home with her goddaughter. When Leyva dies one night during a dig, Jen is left with no place to live and only $1,800 simoleons to her name. Leaving Oasis Springs, she drifts until she finds an empty plot of land on the island in the city of Windenburg she begins her new life.

Jen was raised in Oasis Springs by her godmother, Leyva, who claimed to know nothing about her parents – who they were, what they did. Leyva, being an archaeological scholar, was always out of town on business and, because of this, Jen was raised in relative solitude. An introvert and a loner, she grew up without any friends, thus leaving her with sub-par social skills. She’s always preferred the comfort of video games and llama memes. Sims make her uncomfortable, after all, and why should she force herself to be uncomfortable?
With her godmother now deceased, Jen is thrust into the cold, cruel world. She must force herself out of her comfort zone in order to survive. Not only that, but somewhere deep down, she does want to change. She wants to make friends and eventually fall in love, but that’s easier said than done when she’s constantly putting her foot in her mouth every time she speaks. Her gloomy nature doesn’t help much, either, showing her the darker sides of life.
